Port of Calais

Ferries and Ferry Companies Operating
(Calais, Pas-de-Calais, France)

Both Sea France and P&O Ferries operate services along the Calais to Dover route. Ships sail 24 hours a day and services provided are speedy and efficient.

P&O Ferries

P&O Ferries is one of Britain's biggest cross-channel ferry operators and is also among the most reputable and respected. The company has a large fleet consisting of 32 vessels. Recent investment of over 400 million pounds ensures that the company is operating the fastest and most modern craft available.

All of the ships operating this route offer extensive passenger facilities which include restaurants, comfortable lounges, bureau de change, video arcades and children's play centres and shops selling products such as confectionery, alcohol, cosmetics and toiletries and travel essentials. Cabins are also available for those wanting a little quiet time or privacy but as journeys along this route are short, there is not a great demand for these facilities.

Sea France

Sea France is the only French company operating the Calais to Dover route. The company has just five vessels but is still capable of offering up to 18 daily crossings. Sea France's flagship vessels are the Seafrance Rodin, Seafrance Cézanne and the Sea France Manet. All five of the company's ships offer a high quality selection of passenger comforts, services and amenities.
